Domaine de Chevalier Rouge, grand cru classé Pessac-Léognan 2025 En Primeur (Case of 6)

Quite a pronounced herby edge to the nose. Very elegant and precise, this is a classic from Chevalier, not hugely powerful but sound, well balanced tannin and with finesse in the mouth. Pure plummy fruit with a lick of acidity in the finish, wants a bit of time to show it's best, but all the parts are there and the value is excellent.
